A mild day, overcast with spells of sunshine ☀ but a horrible gusting wind, with a 20-minute shower thrown in for good measure. ?
What a cracker of a close match today for the guys… Very little separated the field at the weigh-in.!
Myles Watt won overall with a nice mix of skimmers, ide and the odd carp for 65lb 8oz, all caught on the pole.
Rosen Arsov finished 2nd with 58lb 10oz… All carp caught on the method feeder, which included a nice 12lb common carp.
Not far behind in 3rd place was Mark Acton, again with a mix of silvers on the pole for 56lb 14oz.
Ian Whitson 56lb & Barry Young 55lb 4oz provided the very respectable backup weights
A fantastic 527lbs of fish caught between the 11 anglers today.., lots of lovely nets of skimmers, carp and some huge ide… Some over 3.5lbs.!!
A very closely contested match throughout… Well done guys.!!
