Overcast and dry, but only until 12 midday, then the heavens opened and it didn’t stop.!!
Some good nets of fish caught in the match today, but certain areas were tough for some.
Lots of chub, skimmers and ide were caught, but only a handful of carp which was to be expected as the water starts to cool a bit.
In section one Symon Willan took the section win catching carp on the tip rod to weigh in a respectable 48lb 4oz from peg 19.
Myles Watt finished second in section with 39lb from end peg 16.
In section 2, James Woodrow put in a sterling shift catching 65lb of silvers on the pole along with 15lbs of carp to weigh in 80lb 12oz, winning the section and overall match.
Finishing second was Rosen Arsov who caught carp on bomb ? and pellet to weigh in 46lb.
Well done all on a tough and very wet day. ?
