Twelve anglers took part, the weather was fine and dry, with a very blustery north east wind, making it very difficult to present a bait, however a good match was enjoyed by everyone taking, with good bags of around 30lbs being the average, consisting of Ide, skimmers and a few carp.

Ian Whitson caught 39lb 8oz on the short pole using big pot maggot and a third of his bag being carp on the tip. Steve Royle 2^nd with 35lb 14oz mostly caught on the pole being on the end peg meant he could fish shorter, with a better presentation, John Wright finished 3^rd using big pot maggot and the tip in the last quarter producing a bag of 33lb

Weights ranged from high thirty’s to a very respectable 17lb
