The weather was beautiful tonight… Too nice for fishing, and too nice for fish feeding as it turned out… Very bright and
? flat calm conditions.
A few fish were caught but none of the big fish we’d normally see on an evening match, lots of roach, small ide and skimmers were caught, however, with a few bonus bream, chub, f1s and small carp.
Paste was the winning formula tonight for catching those bonus fish, with both John Wright and Matt Baxter using it to good effect and both winning their sections, skimmers, big ide and small carp made up their winning catches.
Elsewhere everyone was trying everything from sweetcorn on the pole to pellet wagglers and method feeders, but tonight the fish had other ideas..!
Not the usual Friday night match weights we’d expect, but good close sections none the less,.
At least the midges were feeding.. Big time..!
