A very mild night with a northerly breeze.
It was all about tactics tonight… Some got it right and some didn’t, but the main thing being everyone caught fish. ?.!!
Matt Baxter won reasonably comfortably tonight, opting to fish paste on the pole.
Matt caught steadily throughout the evening to finish with 60lbs 1oz… Mainly carp. Not bad for 3.5hrs fishing. ?.!
A very close second was Steve Royle with 57lbs 4oz… All carp caught on the pellet waggler.
Owner John Wright sneaked 3rd place by a mere 6oz with 32lb 6oz… With Ian Hickson closely behind on 32lbs… A mix of carp and skimmers… Again caught on paste.
