That concludes another great spring festival at Broom Fisheries.

Lots of laughter with fantastic people, as always. Some new faces this year which is

always good to see. The fishing this year as been a bit tougher than usual, with the

Skimmers & Ide in spawning mode, especially those Ide on Wallace.

Still when you look at the weights you still needed up to 100lb+ and over to make the

frame.

A brilliant finish to the individual side of thing’s with travelling partner Matty Threlfall

(4pts) taking the honours on weight count-back from the ever-present Rosen Arsov

(4pts) taking second place. ‘Carp King’ Colin Hart claiming third, again on weight

count-back from Jerry Blythe & Mike Hammond also finished on 5pts.

In the Mini League over 65s +

The two Grahams dominated, Finn & Carter.

Graham Finn taking the honours with 6pts to Graham Carter’s 8pts.
