Andy Keogh Memorial 2024 – Results

A fantastic turn out for Andy’s memorial again this year, with friends and fellows anglers all coming together in memory of Andy (AKA Rew)
In time-honoured tradition, the weather was predictively adverse with a minus figure on the glass this morning to flat bright sunshine mid-day to wet and blustery conditions to finish the afternoon. however, it was a good-humoured event as always with everyone pulling one another legs and generally having the crack, some may have had a tiny headache this morning after last night’s family/friends gathering around the fire and having been spoilt again by Coiln and his wife with some superb beef burgers and again after the match with his very welcome soup for everyone, it has been an excellent day all-around…

Both Andy’s family the fishery and would like to thank everyone for their donations, the money that was raised from people who could not attend and fish, or knew Andy and wanted to contribute, through to the anglers that did pick-up winnings and handed them straight back. A fantastic total of £417.55
That money will go towards the annual service of the defibrillator and the surplus balance will be passed to Mo, who will donate the money to a charity of her choosing.
